This features a photograph of the “Pietá”, Michelangelo’s famous sculpture, depicting Jesus in the arms of his mother Mary, after the crucifixion. Completed in 1498-1499, this marble sculpture is on display in St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. Incidentally, the word pietá is derived from Italian and signifies mercy. Dimensions: 6 3/4″ x 5″
