Jesuit Restorative Justice Initiative Northwest

JRJI NW is Seattle-based version of an Ignatian-centered prison program in Los Angeles – Jesuit Restorative Justice Initiative (JRJI).

Jesuit Restorative Justice Initiative Northwest (JRJI NW) is a pastoral ministry of restorative justice of Jesuits West Province. Through Ignatian methods of prayer, retreat, education and advocacy, JRJI NW strives to heal broken relationships for and with those impacted by crime and incarceration.

JRJI NW, though primarily a ministry to those who are locked up, also mobilizes constituencies to advocate for transformation of the justice system to become restorative rather than punitive. Ultimately, we strive to help people find deeper meaning in their lives and to embrace alternatives to violence, addiction, gang membership and incarceration.
