February 2, 2020 — Father Andrew B. Garcia, SJ, professed Final Vows as a full member of the Society of Jesus on the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord at the 9:30 AM Mass at Most Holy Trinity Parish, San Jose, California. Pastor Duc Vu, SJ, representing Very Reverend Fr. General Arturo Sosa, SJ, of the Society of Jesus formally received Fr. Andrew’s vows. Most Reverend Carlos Sevilla, SJ, Bishop Emeritus of Yakima, Washington was in attendance at this festive celebration that included Andrew’s mother, family members and Jesuits from nearby communities. Fr. Andrew, who previously entered the Italian Province, also transcribed as a member of Jesuits West Province. Fr. Andrew fluently speaks Spanish and Italian and ministers to the diverse parishioners of Most Holy Trinity.
