Requiscat In Pace: David C. Schwartz, S.J.

Father David C. Schwartz, S.J., died unexpectedly Friday, June 8, 2007, just outside Jewell, Oregon. He was 52 years old. Born in Sacramento, California, on October 22, 1954, Dave entered the Society of Jesus at the College of the Queen of Peace in Montecito, California, on September 7, 1974. He pronounced final vows on March 4, 2000, at St. Ignatius Loyola Church in Sacramento. May he rest in peace.

All members of the California Province and those applied to it are to offer or celebrate one first intention Mass and members of the Jesuit Community at Manresa Residence and those attached to it but living elsewhere (cf. 2007 Catalogus USA, pg. 29) are to offer or celebrate one additional first intention Mass for the repose of Dave’s soul.
