January 3, 2020 — It is with mixed emotions that we congratulate Kim Randles, senior philanthropy officer for the Northwest, on her upcoming retirement this month.
In 2016, Kim, an accomplished fundraiser who had served for many years at Jesuit High School and Catholic Charities of Portland, agreed to be a member of the hiring committee for the Province’s new major gift officer position. The hiring process revealed that there was only one person uniquely and perfectly suited for the role: Kim Randles.
Because Kim has a close affinity to the Society of Jesus, she agreed to serve on a temporary basis until a replacement could be found. Kim traveled throughout her 5-state region to meet with donors to raise significant funds to support the critical role the Province plays in Jesuit formation, senior care and many apostolic works.
Three years later, Kim is retiring from that “temporary” position so she can spend more time with her five beautiful grandchildren. Thank you Kim for your tremendous service to the Province. We will miss you!
