The Ignatian Year:
May 20, 2021 - July 31, 2022

There are many ways you can incorporate the Ignatian Year into your parish, school or ministry. Ideas that are already being developed in the Jesuits West Province include:

  • Joint Masses for Tacoma-area Jesuit ministries
  • Testimonials of cannonball stories for social media created by SEEL (Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life)
  • An outdoor event for the feast of St. Ignatius, July 31, 2021, at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Parish in Spokane
  • An Ignatian Examen and a live reading of Ignatius’ autobiography at Santa Clara University
  • A Novena of Grace in March 2022 at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Phoenix
  • Faculty/staff formation programs focused on the Ignatian Year at Jesuit High School in Sacramento
  • A pilgrimage in English and Spanish and webinars hosted by Loyola Marymount University and the Loyola Institute for Spirituality
  • A faculty retreat with a theme of “pandemic as our cannonball moment” at Loyola High School of Los Angeles
