Fr. Dorian Llywelyn, SJ, is president of the Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies at USC. A native of Wales, he’s lived in seven countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. He holds a PhD in systematic theology from the University of Wales and has worked at universities in the U.S. and Europe, teaching a range of courses including iconography, hagiography, ecumenism, and faith and culture.

Fr. Thomas Flowers, SJ, was ordained to the priesthood in 2018 and is currently a graduate student of history at the University of York in England. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Santa Clara University and during his Jesuit formation worked at Bellarmine College Preparatory School in San Jose and at the Kino Border Initiative on the U.S-Mexico border. He also studied theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.
