In December, after Jesuit Superior General Fr. Arturo Sosa, SJ, had confirmed the Vision and Directions for apostolic planning, Fr. Sean Carroll, SJ, provincial of Jesuits West, appointed a 5-member committee to work on the development of an implementation plan.

The former international director of Jesuit Refugee Service, Fr. Tom Smolich, SJ, will assume the role of rector of the Jesuit community at Santa Clara University’s Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, California, this summer.
